Dr. A. C. "Doc" Kaltwasser of El Campo died November 29, 2013 at the age of 92. He was born on November 1, 1921 in Caldwell, Texas to the late Conrad and Pauline Ernest Kaltwasser. He was a 1943 graduate of Texas A & M where he was in the Corp, Calvary Division. He was a veterinarian for 45 years before retiring in l989. He was a 1st Lt. in the Medical Service Corps in the National Guard, U. S. Army veteran, and a member of the American Legion Post 251.
He is survived by his daughter Marcia Palt and her husband Ray of El Campo; granddaughters Kellee Palt of Munich, Germany, and Megan Zabodyn and husband Clint of Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Isabell Marek Kaltwasser; brothers Oliver, Erwin and Eugene Kaltwasser; and sisters Martha Goeble, Esther Halliburton, Lydia Walther, Adele Maresh, and Helen Hein.
The visitation with the family and friends will be 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday at Christ Lutheran Church. The funeral service will be 3:00 pm Monday, December 2, 2013, at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Jake Fain officiating. Graveside services with Military Honors will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery under the auspices of the American Legion Post 251.
Serving as pallbearers are Kenneth Kaiser, Jay Walters, Gary Gensler, Dr. Gary Johnson, Clint Zabodyn, Mike McCann and Anthony Cisneros. Honorary bearers are Bruce Marek and Leo Noska.
Donations in memory of Dr. A. C. Kaltwasser may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
