Annie F. Holub, 92, of Garwood, formally of Hillje, passed away on February 22, 2014. She was born on July 26, 1921 in Pierce, Texas to the late Joseph and Veronica Kopecky Prochazka. She was a homemaker and a member of Christian Mothers in Nada.

Survivors include her daughters Janie Bucek and husband David of Wharton and Lillian Eggemeyer and husband Edwin of Garwood, son John Victor Holub of Houston, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and sister Janie York of Crosby.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Victor E. Holub, sisters Betty Bronikowski and Patsy Pechacek and brother Joe Prochazka.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 25 from 2 pm to 6 pm at Triska Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday February 26 at 9:30 am at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Hillje. Funeral services will follow at 10 am with Rev. Clement Quainoo officiating. Burial will follow at St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Bucek Jr., Jeffrey Bucek, Ian Harris, Allen Eggemeyer, Jason Eggemeyer, and Keith Kresta. Memorial donations in memory of Annie Holub may be made to St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
