Delmar Krenek of Garwood died April 25, 2014 at the age of 67. He was born July 26, 1946 in El Campo to the late Joe Sr. and Elsie Richter Krenek. He was a petroleum landman and also was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Nada Knights of Columbus, was the 1969 president of the Rodeo Club at A & I, past president of Rice Consolidated Booster Club 2005-2006, and had been involved with Garwood Little League.
He is survived by his sons Dustin Krenek of El Campo and Dane Krenek of Tyler; brothers Laddie Lee Krenek and Joe Paul "JP" Krenek both of Garwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Lloyd Neal Krenek.
Visitation will be 2 pm to 5 pm Tuesday at Triska Funeral Home. The KC Rosary will be recited 7:30 pm Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Nada. The funeral Mass will be 10 am Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Joe Vrana officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
