Esther Gonzalez, 69 of Houston, passed away on November 9, 2013. She was born on March 2, 1944 in Louise. She was a Rehab Technician at Health South Rehab Center in Humble.

She is survived by her mother Felicitas Cardenas of Louise, sons Eric and Brian Gonzalez of Houston, grandchildren Erica Nicole Gonzalez, Cameron York Gonzalez, Brandon Aaron Gonzalez, Taylor Gonzalez, great granddaughter Adalyn Michelle Saenz, brothers Daniel Cardenas of El Campo, Tony Cardenas and Adrian Cardenas of Louise and her companion of 23 years Bill Chapman. She was preceded in death by her father Ambrosio Cardenas and husband Henry Gonzalez.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 pm until 8 pm at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday, November 14, 2013, at St. Procopius Catholic Church in Louise with Rev. Clement Quainoo officiating. Burial will follow at St. Procopius Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tony Cardenas, Jr., Robert Cardenas, Robert Cardenas Jr., Ruben Cardenas, Tony Cardenas, III and Jason Cardenas. Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren and co workers at Health South Rehab Center.
