Gladys Grace Osina, 83 years young of El Campo, Texas, peacefully left her earthly life to go to her newly renewed life and be with her Lord on April 29, 2014. She was born on March 2, 1931, in El Campo, Texas, to Henry and Angeline Hubenak; her stepfather was Bill Kosler.

Gladys wanted everyone to know about her Jesus, and she shined for Him. Her walk with the Lord was obvious in many ways, from her devotion time in mornings to life lived throughout her days. She had a way about her that drew others to her life, and so many people have been touched of all ages by and by. She rarely met a stranger and would talk to anyone; her radiant smile would brighten any day without realizing what she had done. The legacy she left behind was the greatest gift of all — love. She will truly be missed, but is now with her Jesus, her eternal destination. She would hope that if you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior,
that you would come to know Him.

Gladys is survived by her 6 children: Sheryl Treadwell and husband Lanus, Linda Burrows, Janice Keller and husband Darrell, Kathy Riddell and husband Randy, Steven Osina and wife Amy, and Kim Jewell; her 17 grandchildren: Sherman Burrows and wife Shari, Kent Medford and wife Danita, Derek Treadwell, Kevin Treadwell, Nathan Keller and wife Tina, Blake Osina and wife Laura, Kara Riddell, Kaleigh Wiese and husband Michael, Kortney Riddell, Cassidy Osina, Jordan Jewell, Hope Jewell, Jeremy Jewell, Kelley Osina, Lynn Osina, Landon Jewell, and Madelyn Jewell; and 7 great-grandchildren: Cameron Burrows, Kiley Burrows, Dylan Medford, Timothy Keller, Gabriel Keller, Dalton Medford, and Jonathan Keller.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Osina; her son-in-law Dalton F. Medford; her son-in-law James Burrows; and her grandchild Heather Grace Jewell.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, May 2, 2014, at First Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Cude of El Campo Faith Center Church officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park.

Memorials in honor of Gladys Osina may be made to El Campo Faith Center Church.
