Lisa Ann Nielsen Englund, 56, of El Campo passed away on February 2, 2014. She was born on December 13, 1957 in El Campo, Texas to Henry Robert and Joyce Duncan Nielsen. She was a L.V.N. and worked the last 14 years at the Wharton County Sheriff's Office. She was a member of the Wharton County Sheriff's Association having held the offices of treasurer, secretary, and vice president.

Lisa is survived by her parents Edward and Joyce Jasinski of El Campo, husband Bill Englund of El Campo, daughter Kimberly Kainer and husband Brent of Houston, step-son Chris Englund and wife Danielle of El Campo, brothers Tim Nielsen and wife Mary of Edna and David Nielsen and wife Sylvia of El Campo, nieces and nephews Brian Nielsen, Lindsay and Greg Hajovsky, Todd and Tiffany Nielsen, and Lane Nielsen, and great nieces and nephews Makenzie Hajovsky, Braxton Hajovsky, and Finleigh Nielsen.

She was preceded in death by her father Henry Robert Nielsen.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 12 pm at Triska Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 3:30 pm at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Clyde Grier officiating. Burial will follow at the Swedish Lutheran Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Albert Hoffman, Tommy Bartek, Jason Defriend, Dudley Huebnar, Brian Nielsen, and T.J. Sparkman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Becky Defriend, Janet Hoffman, and the Wharton County Sheriff's Office.
