Lucille Kathryn Garrett, 89 of El Campo, passed away on June 18, 2014. She was born on August 12, 1924 in Louise, Texas to Clarence and Myrtle Wyer Bergstrom. Lucille was a homemaker and member of Eastern Star and Methodist Women.

She is survived by her daughter Connie Stavinoha and husband John of Houston; sons Fred Garrett and wife Amy of Louise, Gary Garrett and wife Vickie of Brownwood; brother C.E. Bergstrom of Edna; grandchildren Stacy C. Stavinoha, Christopher J. Stavinoha, Case Ryder Garrett, Marshall Colt Garrett, William Garrett, Ana Leigh Garrett, Katherine Grace Garrett and great-grandchild Liam Camaille.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred Calvin Garrett and step-mother Lucille Bergstrom.

Visitation will begin at 2 pm on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Triska Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 5 - 7 pm. Funeral service will be at 11 am on Friday, June 20, 2014 at First United Methodist Church of Louise with Reverend Dale White officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Eldred Bergstrom Jr., Bobby Bergstrom, Jim Garrett, Philip Miller, Will Garrett, Chris Stavinoha and Jeff Garrett.

Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Louise or Houston Hospice-El Campo.
