Mary B. Martinez, 70 of El Campo, passed away on February 9, 2014. She was born on October 3, 1943 in El Campo, Texas to Nicolas and Alexandra Gonzalez Benavidez.

She is survived by her husband Rudy A. Martinez, Sr., sons Rudy A. Martinez, Jr. and wife Janie of El Campo, Reuben Martinez and wife Karen of San Antonio, Richard Martinez and Ivonne of San Antonio, Ronnie Martinez of El Campo, Raul Martinez and wife Norma of El Campo, grandchildren Amanda Martinez, Meagan Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Kristopher Perez, Kristian Perez, Marissa Martinez, Lauren Martinez, Lindsey Martinez, Mariana Martinez, Natalia Martinez, Noah Martinez, Isaac Martinez, Brianna Martinez, Gabrielle Martinez, Sarah Martinez, Marc Martinez, Alexandra Martinez, sister Helen Vallejo of El Campo, brothers Joaquin Benavidez of El Campo, Eugene Benavidez of El Campo, Nicolas Benavidez Jr of Pearland and Roger Benavidez.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, son Robert B. Martinez, brothers Salvador Benavidez, Mike Benavidez, Frank Benavidez and Roy Benavidez and sisters Evita Campos and Belen Benavidez.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 1 – 4 pm at Triska Funeral Home and from 5 – 6 pm at St. Robert's Catholic Church with a Rosary starting at 6 pm. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at St. Robert's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park.

Pallbearers are Rudy A. Martinez Jr., Reuben B. Martinez, Richard Martinez, Ronnie B. Martinez and Raul B. Martinez.
