Santos Ortiz Jr. 62, of El Campo passed away on June 20, 2014. He was born on March 19, 1952 in Edinburg, Texas to Santos Ortiz-Gomez Sr. and Elena Carranza Ortiz..
He is survived by his mother Elena Ortiz of El Campo, wife Martha Saenz Ortiz of El Campo, daughters Alma Lormand of El Campo, Lydia Maza of El Campo, Eva Carvalho of Japan, and Aida Ortiz of New Mexico, sons Santos Ortiz III of Florida, Samuel Ortiz of Victoria, and Adam Ortiz of Georgia, sisters Eumenia Carranza, Rosa Hernandez, Linda Reyna, Leonor Ortiz, Lucila Montes, Rosalva Garcia, and Olivia Ortiz, brothers Robert Ortiz and Oscar Ortiz, and 13 grandchildren.
Santos was preceded in death by his father and brother Nicolas Ortiz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 24, 2014 from 1 pm to 7 pm at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 25, 2014 at 10 am at First Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Dubroc officiating. Burial will follow at La Colonia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Santos Ortiz III, Samuel Ortiz, Adam Ortiz, Robert Lormand II, Isaiah Ortiz, and Richard Lormand.
Honorary pallbearers will be the remaining Grandchildren.
