Eugene Joseph Bubela Jr., 57, of El Campo passed away on June 12, 2013. He was born on August 28, 1955 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Eugene and Leona Sablatura Bubela. He was a self-employed flooring specialist.

Eugene is survived by his parents, wife Debbie Bubela of El Campo, daughters Jennifer Hubenak and husband Brad of El Campo, Nicole Poenitzsch and husband Kevin of Sealy, and Lauren Abbott and husband Jeremy of Huntsville, grandchildren Lincoln and Harper Hubenak, Ava and Kade Poenitzsch, and Ashlynn and Jaxen Abbott, sister Kathy Riha, and brother Randy Bubela both of El Campo.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14th at Triska Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Triska Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 15th at First Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Dubroc officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Roman Catholic Cemetary.

Pallbearers will be Brad Hubenak, Kevin Poenitzsch, Jeremy Abbott, Robert Hrncir, Billy Hodges, Ray Kacer, Steve Urbanovsky, John Roach and Bryan Charbula. Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene Bubela, Sr., W.P. "Ace" Alexander, George Hjaovsky, Randy Bubela, Glenn Riha, Leon Palmer and Eric Marroquin.

Memorial donations in memory of Eugene Bubela may be made to the March-of-Dimes or your charity of choice.
